I entirely agree. The only reason meat is unhealthy is because its the food we fuck with the most. If you cut out all meat that has chemicals and junck pumped in to them free range and nonbleached eggs you would feel healthier as well.

I am a vegetarian and have been for 14 years.  As with most diets, it can be very healthy if done right.  It is important to be sure your diet is balanced and that you are getting all the essential nutrients you need.  Also, take suppliments for what you lack.  For the vegan diet, vitamin B-12 and calcium are hard to come by.

actually chickpeas are a better source of calcium than milk ... haha and dark green vegis are great for that as well...b-12 is hard though

I only try to avoid high frutos corn syrup because like 99 percent of it is GMO. Same with soy. I try and stay as natural as possible in my diet. I wont even eat farm raised fish.

This is really awesome thank you for sharing this. Do you have any advise for some one who wants to get their diet on good nutritional levels but has a small budget? I've been trying to find healthy cheap food but not much luck (except produce).

Carbs are nesisary for anyone its just a matter of how much.

Carbs arent something to regulate in my opinion. Its very important to have them. I am on a high carb/high protein diet. If I wasnt I would be dead lol no seriously... I walk 10miles + a day on average.  I push carts at walmart so I'm using all the muscles in my body... Its calories and junk food that are bad. Also think about this... your muscles can only hold enough carbs for one hour at a time. If you move at all in an hour you need carbs!

Ive heard that slight starvation(eating 1800 cal when you need 2000). Is good because our body thinks there is a limited food supply and runs more eficiantly cuz it thinks it has to for survival.
it tends to do so at the expense of things like healing and muscle growth. Think of your workplace. Now think of it running on a skeleton crew.
Didnt say I would do it. I was just mentioning things I've heard regarding the topic. Thanks though.

yah ive heard that zinc should be taken if you have a cold. I cant take it though. it makes me nauseous . I dont  no why. i usually took it with a meal and that didnt work so i tried it alone and it still made me sick. nothing in pill form agrees with my stomach lol .
i usually drink colloidal  minerals when i have a cold and it helps me get better much faster.  Smiley
yeah zinc didnt agree with me either... it actually gave me gas!  Tongue

Another way is to keep your nose from getting dry, as it reduces the number of white blood cells in your nose. (a way to do this is not using those crappy tissues) And taking extra zinc....
