one way you can resist colds is by getting lots of sleep...
and by stimulating your thymus... you thymus lays directly beneath your sternum.
by tapping up and down your sternum or chest you increase the number of white blood cells to defeat your cold.

and well as sphynxcatvp suggests take 15,000 mg of vit c as it helps increase your immune system  and your energetic body.

Interesting, I have been a heavy smoker for over 10 years, and I battled lots of bronchitis and upper respiratory infections as a teenager.  I do this (tapping) every time I feel a little tight or pain, or spasm coming on, and in fact alot as of late, even with no pain or tighness.  My last cold went away way faster than normal.  Interesting.

That is interesting information.  I never heard of that.  I will have to try that.

i disagree however with taking that much vit c as it can lower your levels of DHEA.

500-1000mg a day is really all you need.

Another way is to keep your nose from getting dry, as it reduces the number of white blood cells in your nose. (a way to do this is not using those crappy tissues) And taking extra zinc....

yah ive heard that zinc should be taken if you have a cold. I cant take it though. it makes me nauseous . I dont  no why. i usually took it with a meal and that didnt work so i tried it alone and it still made me sick. nothing in pill form agrees with my stomach lol .
i usually drink colloidal  minerals when i have a cold and it helps me get better much faster.  Smiley
